Hello friends!
I hope you're doing well! Have you had a chance to explore all the amazing features on our website that can make your life a whole lot easier? We've put a lot of thought into designing this site to make it as user-friendly as possible. Every now and then, I like to drop by and give everyone a quick tour to highlight some of the hidden gems. With over a decade's worth of blog posts in our archives, it can get a bit overwhelming trying to find that specific tutorial, feature, or technique you're searching for.
Let me guide you through some of the key areas starting with the shopping page for each pattern. For this example, I'll be using the Liesl + Co. Extra-Sharp Pencil Skirt. Scroll down past the initial pattern description, and you'll notice a set of tabs. I've marked them in red below so you can spot them easily:

The first tab is the **Details** tab, which contains all the essential information found on the back of the pattern envelope. This includes the full style description, fabric requirements, notions needed, and finished measurements. It's a great place to review before purchasing to ensure you're getting exactly what you need.
Moving along, the next tab is the **Size Chart**, which provides body measurements in both imperial and metric units. Following that, the **Related** tab lists other styles that might interest you. If you're browsing for a skirt pattern, for instance, this tab will show you other skirt options available.
The **Reviews** tab is another valuable section where you can read feedback from others who have already sewn the pattern. Hearing from experienced sewists can be incredibly helpful when deciding whether a pattern is right for you.
Now, let's talk about the **Blog Posts** tab. This is where the site truly shines. Whenever we've referenced a pattern in a tutorial or mentioned it in a feature, those blog posts will appear here. It's a centralized location where you can find sew-alongs, customization tips, inspiration, and more—all related to the pattern you're interested in.
There's also a **Discussion** tab where you can check out any conversations happening in the forums about the pattern. If someone has asked a question or shared their experience, you'll find it here. Although the pencil skirt is relatively new, there haven't been many discussions yet, but this tab ensures you won't miss out on any community insights.
Finally, don't forget the **Photos** tab, where you can see real-life examples of the pattern sewn by others. This is perfect for finding inspiration, understanding how the pattern fits different body types, and seeing how various fabrics can transform the design.
So, there you have it—a wealth of information conveniently organized in one place for your convenience!
Now, let's shift focus to the blog itself. The main page displays our latest blog posts, but take note of the row of tabs halfway down the page. I've highlighted them in red again for clarity:

When you land on the blog, you're already viewing the **Latest** tab, showcasing our newest posts. However, if you're particularly interested in tutorials, simply click on the **Tutorials** tab to access all the guides we've created to help you modify our patterns. You could spend hours—or maybe even days—exploring this section alone, but we'll keep moving forward.
Following that, you'll find the **Sew Alongs** tab, featuring every sew along we've conducted for our patterns. These resources are available anytime, so if you missed out on our initial group sew alongs, feel free to use these posts at your own pace.
After that, there are tabs that connect to our **Flickr** group and **Instagram** page, allowing you to browse through projects shared by fellow sewists and stay updated with our latest posts.
In summary, our website is packed with information designed to make your sewing journey smoother and more enjoyable. Once you familiarize yourself with these features, you'll likely find them indispensable!
I hope this little tour helps you navigate our site better. If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to reach out—I'm always happy to assist. Happy sewing!
